Book List

As many of you know, I am an avid reader.  I enjoy reading all types of books.  Mainly I read mysteries or detective stories but I'll throw in some chick lit or serious books just to mix it up a bit.  I'm also a bit obsessive over keeping track of what books I want to read and what books I've already read.  There's nothing worse than getting 10-25 pages into a book only to realize that you've already read it.  So I have a spreadsheet that tracks it all.  Yes, I am that weird.

Now, let me get to the point of this page.  For the past 2 years, I've made a personal goal to read 50 books a year.  Any type of book.  In 2011, I just barely made it.  So far for 2012, I'm ahead of schedule.  I think I'm going to have to up my goal for next year. 

Below is my running list of books I've read for the year.  I'll keep updating as I read more throughout the year.  Maybe one day, I'll start adding my opinions on the books but for now it's just a list.
